As the Campaign Lurches Forward...
What is the deal here? Is it possible to oppose Kerry's positions without him claiming that his patriotism is being called into question? I have yet to see any example of the Bush campaign attacking his (or any other elected official's) patriotism... and yet that is always the first thing out of a Democrat's mouth when they attempt to rebut an argument on national security. Well, at least Kerr got a chance to mention that he served in Vietnam... which was, of course, a shocking revelation to me.
Well, al least we can count on the scupulously unbiased press to refrain from name-calling, right?
